Matheson Door Hardware Co. is a Mississauga door closer and exit hardware shop, and that narrow focus is deliberate. Most of our work comes from property managers, condo boards, facility managers and business owners across Peel who have already been told by a general handyman that a door which will not latch needs replacing. It almost never does. What it needs is someone who understands closer sizing, arm and mounting selection, hydraulic valve adjustment, latching and strike geometry, and what the Ontario Fire Code actually requires of a door in a fire separation.
We work the way commercial buildings need us to: scheduled visits that fit around trading hours and shipping schedules, common closer sizes, arms and exit-device parts on the truck so most calls finish in one visit, an after-hours line when a fire door will not latch or an exit device will not release, and one written fixed-scope estimate before anything is touched. We are fully insured and WSIB covered, with certificates on request, and we back our work with a written workmanship guarantee. Ontario has no provincial trade licence for door hardware, so we do not pretend to hold one — and neither should anyone quoting against us.
